Greenhouse Wedding Venues in Pittsburgh for Indoor Garden Vibes

Succop Nature Park Greenhouse - Butler, PA

If you love flowers or nature, then a greenhouse wedding may be the perfect fit for you! A greenhouse wedding can offer the best of both worlds, allowing you to achieve your garden wedding vision while reducing the need to stress over an inclement weather plan, which is a huge factor when planning a wedding in Pittsburgh!

Greenhouses look so magical at nighttime when the ambient lighting reflects off the glass windows. But while greenhouses are all around, it can be a bit tricky finding greenhouse wedding venues, especially ones that fit your wedding vision and needs. But here’s a list of greenhouse wedding venues in Pittsburgh that will help you bring your greenhouse wedding dreams to life!

A Warning About Greenhouse Weddings and Indoor Garden Weddings

Before we get into greenhouse wedding venues in Pittsburgh, PA, there is something you should consider… Greenhouses get hot!

Not all of the greenhouse wedding venues on this list have this issue. However, it’s important to note that if you plan to hold your wedding in a greenhouse, consider the season, time of day, and availability of air conditioning during the process of planning your event. In some cases, holding your greenhouse wedding after sunset or in the winter may be your best bet.

Overall, while a greenhouse may look beautiful, you want to make sure that you and your guests are as comfortable and prepared as possible.

Other Options for a Greenhouse Wedding Near Pittsburgh

Don’t see what you’re looking for on this list? Here are some other ways to obtain the feel of an indoor garden or greenhouse wedding:

Rent a clear tent

Check with both the venue and tent rental company to ensure this can be done before booking anything. The venue may have tent or vendor restrictions, and you want to make sure that the rental company has the tent available and has determined that it will work on the desired grounds. It will likely be pricier compared to a standard tent but may be worth it! Some wedding venues that allow or may allow a clear tent on their grounds include:

Search Vacation Home Rentals

If you’re planning on having a micro wedding, consider searching through vacation home rental websites like Airbnb and Vrbo to see if you can find a rental home that offers a greenhouse on site. Note that holding your wedding at a residential location creates a ton of other considerations to make and isn’t always as easy and cost-effective as it sounds, but it does work for some couples.
